Anje and Wiehan invited us out for breakfast yesterday morning, so we trundled off to Willow Bridge for a relaxed time of good food and slow market fair. Anje said she'd seen a very cute little place she was dying to try and so we plopped ourselves down in Pulp Kitchen & Deli. We were very please with her selection and will definitely be visiting there much more. The setting was darling, the service was wonderful!!! (which is something that is lacking in many a SA restaurant) and the food was divine. I had a breakfast wrap and it was so refreshing to get a normal sized plate of food. I'm tired of these American sizes that places are serving these days. And I must say those were the best scrambled eggs I've ever had!
I love quirky little place and Pulp ticked all my boxes. Interesting décor, a cute and sassy menu, that features good design and totally inspired item names like "what's your beef?" burger, and a great atmosphere. I highly recommend going to check this gem out.

I've always wanted to get a tattoo, but I've resigned myself to the fact that I won't because I'm one of those people who changes their mind about what I like often and I just can't commit to something a permanent as a tattoo. But these two tattoos just blew me away. Kudos to these two brave and beautiful ladies for wearing their heart of their sleeve, so to speak.

More pantone love...After getting my beautiful Pantone set I was thinking about all the cool Pantone branded products you get. There are mugs and t-shirts, chairs and salt grinders, but the above are some of my favourite.
First you have the Pantone Hotel in Brussels. How cool is a whole hotel where each room is decked out in different Pantone colours? Then you have Pantone glasses! You get 3 interchangeable colour frames that you can customise as you like. I really want some of these. Then there's Pantone Notebooks and Pantone fridge magnets (which is actually a super cool DIY project by How About Orange). And lastly you have Pantone sneakers by SeaVees.

So, for as long as we've been together Rudi has talked about getting bikes one day, teaching me to ride and then touring around the country on them. We were going to start off small and after I wrote my learners licence (which is Tuesday and I haven't really studied, but hope I get through on common sense. It is just the road signs after all and I've been driving for 11 years already, right?!?) we were going to get a little 180cc bike to get started with. That plan got totally vetoed when my aunt let me know she was selling her 650GS BMW (and at such a steal!). I always joked that if she ever sold it we'd buy it, but I didn't imagine it happening now. So, after much umming and aahing we took the plunge and bought it. I still have to start on something smaller (I'm going to go to a proper riding school), but I can't wait to be confident enough to take out new baby out for a spin. For now I'll be content to sit behind Rudi and enjoy the scenery. Now just to find some cool biker gear :D

I came across this stunning clutch and fell completely inlove with it. It combines two of my fav things... Kate Spade and Chocolate. It was on sale, but unfortunately Katespade.com doesn't ship to SA, so not luck for me. I also can't find it on the website any more, so I take it it's gone forever. At least I can still look at these pretty pictures.
