Old MacDaddy Trailer Park

The Thursday before my birthday we spent the evening in The Old MacDaddy trailer park. What a wonderful and unique experience. I am now obsessed with owning an airstream trailer, but how I would get it anywhere is beyond me as those things are HUGE! Anyway... We stayed in the King Midas trailer, which was decked out in gold and so kitsch it was cool. It's probably one of the more "rustic" trailers, as it doesn't have the built on lounge and bathroom the others do, but in my opinion the view, and that fact that it's really private made it my fav spot, and while I really want to try out some of the other trailers up on the hill, nothing beats sitting staring out at that dam.

We got there are about 2pm and spent the whole afternoon just sitting staring out at the view and chatting. Later we went for supper at  thBrinny Breezes restaurant, who make delicious pizzas. After a relaxed dinner we headed back to our trailer to get some shut eye in  the big double bed that fits quite comfortably into that double wide trailer. All in all it was a great mini trip away and I'll definitely be going back soon.

*yes, I'm back and my post are all so late. From September work was crazy and I didn't get a minute to myself and when the holidays rolled around and I had time to blog, which I really planned to do, I just couldn't face sitting in front of a pc for another minute. So it's a new year and I'll try again to keep up, but this year I'm not going to beat myself up about not being so great at keeping up with my blog. I want to enjoy it so I don't want to force thing. So I'm just going to have to make peace with blogging in drips and drabs
:P
