This weekend Rudi and I went out to the Taal Monument in Paarl. I've always wanted to go see it, but just never got round to it. You have a stunning view from up there and we're planning to go have picnic there when the weather warms up. We also popped in at Fairview Wine Farm for some cheese and bread. The last stop was ice-cream at our favourite little gelato shop.
Ah, Fairview - my daughters favourite wine/cheese farm. She just LOVES the chocolate croissants (her mommy just LOVES the wine..LOL). I have lived in CT my entire life and have never been to the Paarl Monument - sad, I know. Your photo's are great.

mmmm, yes, their chocolate croissants are great. What I wouldn't do for one now, but hubby and I are on a 3 month weight loss challenge, so no sweet things for us.
ReplyDeleteIt is really beautiful up there and they have a nice little coffee shop that looks over the whole of Cape Town. You really should go sometime.
