our holiday: rounding it off in east london
The last week of our trip we spent with Rudi's aunt and uncle at their stunning beach house just outside East London. The beach is just a short walk away and all we did was relax some more, take photos and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
Line, the neighbours Rhodesian Ridgeback, was always up for a walk on the beach.
We also ended up experimenting with some long exposures on the beach.
We drove back along the coast and it was so nice not to have to drive inland again and back to dreary Gauteng. On the way back we stopped in at the Tsitsikama National Park (have to go there for a holiday soon) and we slept over in Sedgefield.
Mmm, summer holidays are the best and this one was long and lazy and just what I needed after such a crazy year.

LOVE the second shot of the flowers in the fields. It would make a gorgeous poster.

Thanks Dianne :)
ReplyDeleteMaybe I should try selling it as a print on flickr
Love Tsitsikama, I'm australian and i've been there twice it's so beautiful, there's an adventure company there called untouched adventures, they are awesome. if you go there again you must let them take you up the river mouth, you'll get some stunning pics there.
ReplyDeletelove you photo's they are beautiful!

I'd love to do some of the adventure outings they have there. Top on my list is the Cable & Zip line Tour. The river mouth idea sounds great too. Thanks for the suggestion :)
