Just a cute Mü & Me journal I bought the other day. Love this brand.

wedding photo canvases
When Rudi and I got married my fabulous Lady of Honour and bestest friend, Louise, gave us a voucher for canvas prints of some of our wedding photos as a present from her, her hubby and her darling daughter. I've been threatening to get these done since I got our photos (almost 4 months ago), but it was just one of the many things that I let slip and never seemed to have time for (which is silly, but true).
So on Wednesday I thought enough is enough. We've already had the three nails in the wall where we want to hang them since just after we moved into our new place, so it was time to get them printed. Rudi and I went off to Minuteman Press, gave in the photos and yesterday we went to pick up the canvases. Easy as that.
I think they look absolutely stunning and are such a great reminder of our wonderful wedding day every time we look at them.
Thanks Lou! You're the best. Love you so much :)

eli no!
These are just such cute illustrations.
Eli No! tells the story of one trouble-making dog and the one word that is never far behind. The book was designed and illustrated by Katie Kirk & Nathan Strandberg of Eighthourday.
fab framed photos and art
{framed art on shelves}
{lots of different framed things on the same wall}
I'm loving these two decor trends that seem to be popping up everywhere. If you're like me and you have a hundred beautiful photos and designs that you want to display in your house, these two options work great. There's not more sticking to the traditional "one or two things per wall" and the look is modern and eclectic at the same time.
Once day when Rudi and I own our own house, and therefore can drill as many holes into the walls as we like, I want to try both of these ideas out. I especially like the different frame idea for above our bed, instead of having a headboard. Till then I'll collect all the examples I can find to keep me inspired.

mandalas
Awhile back I did a post about an SA artist who used mandalas in his painting and then I was lucky enough to receive a couple from my wonderful hubby (see them here). Since then I have been quite intrigued with the whole concept and have been dying to try making some of my own.
I haven't gotten round to that yet, like so many other things on my to do wish list, but I cam across these graphic version by designer Gunnar Gíslason. They are so beautiful and detailed. I really have to try something like this out in the not too distant future :)

summer
It's warm and sunny outside and it feels like summer is on it's way. You just have to smile :)
vinyl wall clocks

Aren't these just fabulous? They're vinyl wall clocks that you get in a kit and then you can stick them to your wall any which way you like.
I'd love to post the link here, but every time I try to go onto the site my anti-virus software gives me a warning about a trojan horse virus. So if you're looking for these clocks, the company's name is Artistik. Maybe if you google them you'll have more luck.
